Bears fall in five sets to Iola
Bonduel played another five-set match, again falling, this time to Iola-Scandinavia, 25-15, 17-25, 19-25, 25-15, 13-15, Tuesday night.
Juniors Kailee Pedersen and Danee Collier each recorded 22 digs to lead the Bears. Senior setter Miranda Schmidt added 21 assists. Taylor Weier had 15 kills, and Hayley Pues tallied seven blocks. Pues and Hayley Sorenson each had three aces as well for the Bears.
Gresham records 1st conference loss
Gresham fell to Wild Rose in three games, 25-12, 25-17, 25-16, Tuesday for its first Central Wisconsin Conference-10 loss of the season.
Makena Arndt recorded 14 digs for Gresham (10-4, 6-1 CWC-10). Sydney Jenson had eight kills to lead the attack.

Hawks win at Green Bay West
SCHS picked up its first Bay Conference victory of the season in a 3-1 win over Green Bay West on Tuesday.
Jacob Dickmann opened up the scoring for the Hawks (4-9-1, 1-4 Bay) and tallied an assist a few minutes later, along with another goal in the second half to seal the win.
Tyler Buerman scored quickly after Dickmann’s first-half goal to extend the lead to 2-0.
Manny Morel made 12 saves manning the net for the Hawks.
SCHS wins 1 at Green Bay East tourney
Shawano won its opening game at the Green Bay East tournament, 3-0 over Gibraltar, on Saturday.
The Hawks then lost their next two matches, 3-0 to Green Bay Southwest and 2-1 to Waupun.
Shawano is 3-9-1 on the season.
