Hawks swim falls to Sturgeon Bay
Shawano competed against Sturgeon Bay on Tuesday night and lost the dual meet 105-64.
Clare Martell finished first in the 100-yard butterfly and 100 breaststroke.
The SCHS 200 medley relay team of Lydia Colon, Clare Martell, Emme Quandt and Alyssa Anker took second place, as did the 400 free team of Lauren Roloff, Onalee Siegfriend, Peyton Hrabik and Colon.
Anker went on the take second in the 50 freestyle.

SCHS loses in straight sets
Shawano lost on the road to Appleton Xavier in three games Thursday night, 25-17, 25-10, 25-12.
Erika Dunnam led SCHS (15-6, 1-1 Bay Conference) in both kills (nine) and digs (17). She also added two blocks and a service ace. Fellow senior Annelies Young had 15 assists. Young and Anika Klement each had three kills.
Bonduel drops match to Chargers
Bonduel fell 25-27, 25-16, 25-14 Thursday at Wittenberg-Birnamwood.
Madison Bushman tallied 18 assists and nine digs, while Taylor Nier added 11 kills for the Chargers. Amanda Muscha had eight aces for Wittenberg-Birnamwood as well.
The Bears were led by Kailee Pedersen’s five kills and Danee Collier’s six digs. Miranda Schmidt and Brynn Reinke each had seven assists, while Reinke added four service aces for Bonduel.
Hayley Sorensen had four solo blocks for Bonduel, which fell to 1-3 in the Central Wisconsin Conference-8.
Gresham continues winning streak
Gresham defeated Bowler in five sets Thursday night, 20-25, 25-14, 25-13, 21-25, 15-9.
Taylor Hoffman had 18 assists to lead Gresham (8-3, 4-0 CWC-10), while Sydney Jensen added 18 kills. Mackenzie Hoffman tallied 14 digs.

Panthers fall to Truckers
Gresham/Bowler got shut out on the road Thursday night by Clintonville, 4-0.
Neal Cerveny recorded six saves for the Panthers, but they could not overcome the deficit.
CROSS-COUNTRY
SCHS boys fifth, girls 10th at Bay Port
Senior Austin Lhotka took seventh overall with a time of 17:23 at the Bay Port Invitational on Thursday to help the Shawano boys team to a fifth-place finish.
Andrew Cardish, a junior, ran the race in 18:16. Chase Lhotka was five seconds behind Cardish to place third on the team and 24th overall. Griffin Bohm and Michael Mault finished fourth and fifth for the Hawks, respectively.
Teagan Monfils again led the Hawks girls, finishing in 21:46. Fellow senior Kristy Kurty added a time of 23:25. Sophomore Madeline Hanson ran in 23:32, with Savannah Johnson and Makayla Stoddart completing the Hawks scoring.
Kimberly won the boys meet with a score of 18. Appleton North took the girls race with 30 points.
