Clintonville rallied from an early 2-0 deficit to knock off Menominee on the road on Sunday.
Clintonville scored four times in the third and then three more times in the fourth to pull ahead. Klay Finger scored twice for Clintonville. Sean Finger picked up the win, while Trenton Vollmer earned the save.
Riley Uttecht and Mequan Corn each reached base three times for Menominee.
Wittenberg splits with Oconto Falls
Wittenberg had to settle for a split in a home doubleheader against Oconto Falls on Friday, hanging on late for a 7-5 win in game one before falling 9-8 in game two.
In the win, Wittenberg scored all seven of its runs in the first inning, as 13 batters came to the plate. Will Urquhart earned the win on the mound, allowing two runs over four innings.
Oconto Falls scored five runs over the final two innings to earn the win in the second game. Wittenberg’s Casey Kerstner and Trevor Groshek each scored two runs.
New London 13
Shawano 10
Shawano nearly rallied from a big deficit in a home loss to New London on Thursday.
Shawano trailed 12-3 after five innings, but scored 10 runs over the final two frames to make things interesting.
Kris Krause posted three hits and drove in three runs for Shawano. Zach Erdmann and Nick Grignon each chipped in a pair of hits, while Carter Weisnicht took the loss on the mound.
