The Bonduel softball team picked up a pair of wins in a tournament in Two Rivers on May 19.

Brynn Reinke tossed a no-hitter to lead the Bears to a lopsided win over Kiel in game one. Reinke struck out seven batters while walking three. Reinke also had three hits and five RBIs at the plate.

Bonduel rallied from a six-run deficit to top the hosts in the second game. Joanie Wudtke had the game-winning RBI for the Bears in the bottom of the seventh inning. Reinke earned the win after striking out five batters across five innings. Grace Thorne tallied two hits at the plate.

Reinke suffered the loss against Roncalli, allowing three hits and two walks over four innings. McKenzie Wollenberg posted two hits for the Bears.

Shawano dropped a pair of games at the Ashwaubenon Quad on May 19.

Gracyn Habeck posted three hits to lead the Hawks in game one. Kendra Kristof tallied two hits while Breezy Zook hit her seventh homer of the year, a new team record.

Kristof had two hits again for Shawano in the loss to Pulaski.

BASEBALL

Bonduel swept Crandon in a nonconference doubleheader on May 19.

Cole Letter and Jordan Boldt each drove in two runs for the Bears in the game one win. Bonduel scored five runs in the top of the seventh inning to rally to the victory. Letter also earned the win on the mound, allowing four runs on five hits while striking out four batters over 4 1/3 relief innings. Wyatt Erb started the game and struck out six batters over 2 2/3 innings.

Isaac Boldt posted three hits and two RBIs for the Bears in the convincing game two win. Bryce Weier added two hits. Isaac Boldt also picked up the win, allowing two runs on five hits over four innings. Riley Allen and Joey Wagester pitched for the Bears in relief.

Clintonville was swept by Wrightstown in a North Eastern Conference doubleheader on May 19.

Kyle Finger, Matthew Morse and Keenan Doornink each drove in a run for the Truckers in the game one loss. Morse, Finger and Jared Cartwright all tallied two hits. Morse took the loss on the hill after allowing three runs over three innings. Logan Lisenfelder and Nick Schoen also pitched in the game.

Clintonville had just two hits in the second game. Matt Seefeldt scored the team’s lone run. Cartwright took the loss after allowing five runs, three of which were earned over 1⅔ innings. Seefeldt and Finger also pitched in the contest for the Truckers.

GIRLS SOCCER

Shawano 4

Antigo 0

The Shawano soccer team blanked Antigo in a nonconference clash on Tuesday.

Lindsey Roloff netted three goals and added an assist to lead the Hawks to the win. Tanessa Krysheski scored the team’s other goal while Sydney Steinbach was credited with an assist.

Shawano goalie Peyton Buerman made one save to preserve the shutout.

Seymour 7

Shawano 0

Shawano was blanked by Seymour in a conference clash on May 19.

Goalies Peyton Buerman and Grace Licausi stopped three and four shots, respectively, while defending the net for the Hawks.
