Sturycz, three doubles teams recognized for strong play

The Shawano boys tennis team saw a number of its players excel during Bay Conference action this season.
The deserving athletes were rewarded with all-conference honors for their efforts.
Harrison Sturycz, the Hawks’ No. 1 singles player, landed on the all-conference first team singles list after earning 18 points. Shawano’s doubles teams of Carter Peplinski and Cesar Ramirez and Chris Black and Levi Johnson each scored 12 points to be named to the all-conference second team doubles list. The duo of Wyatt Theiss and Rhain Rodenbeck landed on the honorable mention list.
Players earned points by winning matches during the regular season and during the Bay Conference Tournament.
