FOOTBALL

Bonduel runs to 2nd victory of season

Blake Stoss racked up 163 yards rushing and three touchdowns as Bonduel (2-0) defeated host Peshtigo 33-22 Friday night.

Preston Robaidek added two touchdowns, one rushing and one 69-yard touchdown reception.

With the Bears leading 27-0, Peshtigo returned the opening kickoff of the second half for a touchdown, swinging the momentum in its favor, but it was not enough to overcome the deficit.

GIRLS VOLLEYBALL

Wildcats defeat Three Lakes in 2 matches

Gresham/Bowler traveled to Three Lakes to play two matches Thursday night, defeating the hosts 3-0 and 3-1.

Sydney Jensen led the Wildcats with 11 kills, while Kamille Davids added seven. Taylor Hoffman had 17 assists, and Mackenzie Hoffman led Gresham/Bowler with 26 digs.

CROSS-COUNTRY

Shawano boys place 5th at invitational

Austin Lhotka led Shawano to a fifth-place finish Friday at the Terror Invite in Appleton with a time of 17:07. Andrew Cardish followed behind, with Steven Hoffman, Michael Mault, and Grifin Bohm rounding out the top five times for the Hawks boys.

In the girls race, SCHS took 10th place with Teagan Monfils leading with a time of 21:41. Kristy Kurtz and Madeline Manson were the Hawks’ second and third runners. Makayla Stoddart and Savannah Johnson completed the top-five racers.

BOYS SOCCER

Cerveny, Ludvigsen each score 2 goals

Neal Cerveny had a big day, tallying two goals and two assists as Gresham defeated host Tri-County 5-4 Thursday.

Levi Ludvigsen added two goals of his own, while Drew Haffner scored a goal with two assists.

Todd Otradovec saved 11 of the 15 shots he faced.
