The No. 3-seeded Tigers rallied from a four-run deficit to win Tuesday’s regional opener at home.
Alan Parrott’s two-out hit in the bottom of the seventh scored both the game-tying and game-winning runs for Tigerton. Parrott and Robert Graham had two hits each for the Tigers; Logan Moderson led the team with three.
Hayden Harris earned the win for Tigerton (6-13, 5-13 Central Wisconsin Conference-10), which will travel to No. 2-seed Assumption (11-14, 6-6 Marawood South) Wednesday for the regional semifinal.
No. 6 Marion concluded its season with a 2-18 record, 1-17 in the CWC-10.

Two runs in the bottom of the sixth Tuesday boosted the Truckers to the WIAA Division 2 regional final.
Aaron Morse scored Clintonville’s first run on a throwing error, and Nick Hogen scored the game-winner on a sacrifice fly from Hunter Vollmer. Hogen finished with Clintonville’s only two hits. He also pitched a complete-game win, allowing four hits.
Clintonville (11-4, 10-4 Eastern Valley) travels to No. 1 Notre Dame (14-9, 12-7 Fox River Classic) for Wednesday’s regional semifinal.
Marinette, the fifth seed in the regional, ends its season at 9-15 overall. 5-9 in the Bay Conference.

Playoff hole keeps Eggert from state
Gresham Secondary School senior Killian Eggert finished his round Tuesday at McCauslin Brook Golf Course in Lakewood with an 80 in the WIAA Division 4 sectional. That put him in a four-player tie for second place, with the final two individual transfer positions to next week’s state final in Madison on the line.
Eggert, Iola-Scandinavia’s Zach Mortenson, Shiocton’s Max Beecher, Wabeno-Laona’s Maggie Warner and Gibraltar’s Sam Higginbotham played an extra hole for a tiebreaker. Mortenson and Beecher advanced.
Menominee Indian's John Long shot a 96 to finish in a tie for 44th.
Crandon (343) won the sectional title, with Gibraltar (347) second. St. Mary Central’s Grant Boyson shot a 78 to earn medalist honors and a state berth.
