Crandon 60
Menominee Indian 6
Alphonso Smith rushed for 83 yards on 17 carries and had the Eagles’ lone score, but it wasn’t enough for Menominee Indian to overcome Crandon in a Northern Lakes game Friday in Keshena.
Smith, a senior who rushed for a school record 1,064 yards this season, scored on a 6-yard dive in the fourth quarter to break the Crandon shutout.
Michael Pecore had 40 yards rushing and caught a 43-yard pass from Avery Corn, who was 1 of 5 passing for 43 yards and an interception.
