East-West Division

Tigerton 7

Caroline 3

Tigerton topped Caroline on Friday behind a strong outing from Paul Sellner.

Sellner struck out 13 batters and pitched all nine innings for Tigerton, which scored six of its runs over the final two innings. Conner Harris and Brandon Sivertson each homered, while Jayden Sivertson and Gunner Kopitzke each had two hits.

Dylan Loveland finished with two hits for Caroline. Eric Kroening took the loss on the mound in relief of Bryson Bernarde, who struck out six batters over five innings.

Gresham 19

Shawano 3

Gresham eased past Shawano on Friday.

Pete Carroll and Brent Berkoholtz each had two hits for Gresham. Jordan Stichman was the winning pitcher.

Brandon Estep took the loss on the hill for Shawano. Adam Compton and Kien Moorman each tallied a hit.

Clintonville 15

Tilleda 1

Clintonville moved to 6-0 on the season with a rain-shortened, six-inning victory over Tilleda, which is now 1-5.

Kenny Casper led Clintonville with three hits and two RBIs. Jared Westphal and Cory Smith each drove in a pair while joining Kyle Finger, Jaden Doornink, Austin Dyb and Travis Rohde with two hits each. Hunter Vollmer earned the win on the mound.

Teagan Lehman paced Tilleda at the plate with two hits. Curt Brei suffered the loss.

Neopit 13

Leopolis 1

Anthony Leaman hit a grand slam to lead Neopit past Leopolis. Neopit improved to 5-2, while Leopolis fell to 2-4.

Sam Tourtillott had three hits for Neopit, while Alex Peters, Karl Peters, Bob Peters and Dallas Madosh all had two. Madosh also picked up the win on the hill.

Nate Laude took the loss for Leopolis, which had just four hits.

Little Falls 22

Shawano 1

Little Falls remained undefeated by cruising past Shawano. Little Falls is now 6-0, while Shawano is 3-3.

Little Falls had 18 hits in the game, with Chris Dunn posting four of them. Dunn also struck out 14 batters over seven innings to earn the win. Hunter Gruenwald and Drew Radies each homered, while Kyle Fischer and Scott Aasen recorded three and two hits, respectively.

Matt Carroll took the loss for Shawano.

Gresham 19

Tigerton 2

Gresham bumped its record to 6-1 with a convincing win over Tigerton, which dropped to 4-2.

Nate Ejnik and Joe Ejnik each posted three hits for Gresham in the win, while Mike James and Ryan James chipped in two hits each. Mitch Pleshek earned the win.

Paul Sellner finished with three hits for Tigerton. Hayden Harris took the loss.

Caroline 17

Menominee 0

Caroline cruised to a shutout win over Menominee in seven innings.

Aaron Hoffman struck out 10 batters in a complete game effort for Caroline, which improved to 3-3. Tyler Marquardt, Brandon Bernarde and Conner Senzig all had three hits, while Aaron Hoffman, Eric Kroening and Travis Marquardt had two hits each. Neil Hoffman homered among his two hits.

Alan Okimosh suffered the loss for Menominee, which fell to 0-7. Menominee finished with four hits.

Marion 14

Bowler 4

Marion improved to 2-5 with a lopsided win over Bowler, which is now 0-6.

Joe Weyenberg and Cayden Schoen each had three hits for Marion, while Mitch Elandt, Jake Westphal and Alex Elandt all had two. Weyenberg also picked up the win on the mound.

Riley Mohawk and Paul Murphy led Bowler with two hits each. Landan Kroening took the loss.

Northern Division

Birnamwood 6

Elderon 1

Birnamwood knocked off Elderon to remain atop the division standings. Birnamwood improved to 5-1, while Elderon fell to 2-3.

Gus Turner-Zick and Zach Bembenek each had three hits for Birnamwood, while Tim Rew, Brady Erickson and Jason Rieck all chipped in two. Bembenek also earned the win.

Casey Kerstner took the loss for Elderon. Mike Lehman led the offense with two hits.

Eland 19

Wittenberg 7

Eland eased past Wittenberg to jump to 4-2 on the season. Wittenberg is now 1-6.

Ryan Richter homered and doubled for Eland, while Shane Larson tallied four hits. Jeremy Jensen, Alex Bembenek and Jarod Richter all added three hits, while Sam Steebs had two. Jarod Richter was the winning pitcher.

Tom Froom took the loss, but finished with two hits at the plate. Zach Urquhart also had two hits.

Aniwa 18

Antigo/Polar 15

Aniwa knocked off Antigo/Polar in a high-scoring affair. Aniwa is now 2-4, while Antigo/Polar dropped to 3-3.

Zach Jaje led Aniwa with three hits, while Brian Hoppe homered among his two hits. Zach Weber, Ryan Govek and Nolan Hoppe each added two hits. Denton Mortenson earned the win on the hill.

Cole Kuenzli suffered the loss for Antigo/Polar. AJ Kirsch had five hits, including three homers. Nick Marshall and Hunter Kirsch each had three hits, while Aaron Scholfield, Jed Weix and Blake Below all had two hits.

South Central Division

Waupaca 6

Plover 0

Waupaca remained perfect on the season with a shutout win over Plover. Waupaca improved to 5-0, while Plover slipped to 3-3.

Cam Seidl picked up the win on the mound, striking out eight batters and allowing just two hits over six innings. Ethan Dayton and Luke Behm each had three hits for Waupaca, while Jon Popham had two hits and Shawn Peskie drove in a pair.

Zak Hintz suffered the loss for Plover. Nate Jackan and Dan Moriel posted the team’s hits.

Scandinavia 12

Weymont 10

Scandinavia improved to 5-1 with a high-scoring win over Weymont, which dropped to 0-4.

Jesse Dickert and Gavin Erbes each hit a home run and finished with three RBIs for Scandinavia. Dickert tallied four hits in the contest. Zach Ksicinski earned the win.

Jeremy Christensen and Wes Alex each had two hits for Weymont.
