GIRLS SOCCER

Shawano 4

Green Bay East 1

Lindsey Roloff netted two goals to lead the Hawks past the Red Devils in Bay Conference action Tuesday. Roloff scored in the 35th and 56th minutes.

Abigail Rabideau tallied the team’s first goal in the 11th minute and Brianna Mott capped the Hawks’ scoring with a tally in the 66th minute. Mott had two assists, while Rylie Anderson had one.

Peyton Buerman stopped three shots while defending the net for the Hawks.

BOYS GOLF

Gorman leads Shawano in De Pere

Gage Gorman shot a nine-hole round of 46 to lead Shawano at Mid Vallee Golf Course in De Pere on Tuesday.

Shawano finished with a team score of 199.

Kaden Marcell fired a 47, while Lucas te Plate shot a 50. Karsten Anderson (56) and Nick Sherman (58) rounded out the five-golfer team.

Team scores: 1. West De Pere 171; 2. Xavier 174; T3. New London 199; T3. Shawano 199; 5. Seymour 202; 6. Menasha 217; 7. Green Bay East 226.

SOFTBALL

Shawano 3

New London 2 (8 inn.)

The Hawks scored in the sixth, seventh and eighth innings to steal a Bay Conference victory over the Bulldogs on Tuesday.

Shawano’s Jewel Waupekenay singled home pinch-runner Elizabeth Esch in the sixth to tie the game at one. The Hawks took the lead on a RBI single from Kate Hoffman that scored Abi Vomastic in the seventh, but New London tied the game in the bottom half of the frame. Shawano went ahead for good when Gracyn Habeck scored in the eighth on a fielder’s choice from Macie Herm.

Lauren Welander and Habeck each had two hits for the Hawks. Habeck also earned the win in the circle after working 1 1/3 innings. Emilee Bastar allowed just one run over four innings, while Caitlin Daniel surrendered one run over 2 2/3 innings.

Tigerton 11

Rosholt 9

The Tigers held on late for a CWC crossover win over the Hornets Tuesday.

Adrienne Brady secured the win in the circle for Tigerton, which scored five runs in the fifth inning and two more in the sixth to create some breathing room.

Savannah Swartz led the Tigers at the plate with three hits, one of which was a double. Leandra Kalwitz also had thee hits, while Molly Brehm doubled and singled. Bethany Jobe and Colleen Smith each singled twice, while Raven Dewhurst and Brady each doubled.

Waupaca 9

Clintonville 5

The Truckers came up short in a North Eastern Conference tilt with the Comets on Tuesday.

Tarah Malotky, Tessa Doornink, Abby King and Abby Schroeder all tallied two hits for Clintonville. King also drove in two runs.

Hannah Baird took the loss in the circle for Clintonville.

Gresham drops two to Manawa

The Wildcats could not get their offense going in a pair of losses to Manawa in CWC-North play Tuesday. Manawa won game one 11-3 and game two 14-4.

Destiny Reindl, Valarie Cerveny and Jada James each drove in a run for Gresham in game one. James took the loss in the circle, allowing five earned runs.

Monique Terrio had two RBIs for the Wildcats in game two, while Kalayla Tucker scored twice. Reindl took the loss, allowing eight earned runs.

WVL/NL 16

Bowler 1 (5 inn.)

The Panthers were held to one hit in a CWC-North loss to Wisconsin Valley Lutheran/Northland Lutheran on Tuesday.

Tynea Johnson had Bowler’s lone hit and scored the only run. Johnson also took the loss in the circle.

Jada Waters ended up working four innings for Bowler, allowing seven earned runs.

BASEBALL

Bonduel 10

Kewaunee 9 (8 inn.)

The Bears walked off with a nonconference victory over the Storm on Tuesday.

Bonduel scored twice in the bottom of the eighth to earn the win. Parker Bohm drew a bases-loaded walk and Noah Beilfuss reached on an infield single to score the game-winning run.

Cole Letter, Isaac Boldt, Joey Wagester, Beilfuss and Bohm all tallied two hits for the Bears. Beilfuss also earned the win after pitching two innings.

Witt-Birn 8

Shiocton 4

The Chargers doubled up Shiocton in a CWC-East clash on Tuesday.

Austin Worzalla, Shane Herb, Michael Gibson, Jacob Groshek, Jack Stewart and Simon Stewart all had a RBI for Wittenberg-Birnamwood. Kody Szews and Gibson each scored two runs.

Szews earned the win after working the first 5 2/3 innings, striking out five along the way. Herb held Shiocton scoreless over the final 1 1/3 innings.

New London 14

Shawano 4 (6 inn.)

The Hawks could not keep pace with the Bulldogs in a Bay battle on Tuesday.

Steve Hoffmann took the loss after working 5 2/3 innings. Hoffmann finished with two hits at the plate.

Kris Krause doubled among his three hits for the Hawks.

Marinette 4

Clintonville 3 (8 inn.)

The Truckers lost a late lead in a NEC battle with the Marines on Tuesday. Marinette scored once in the seventh and then in the eighth for the walkoff win.

Jared Cartwright and Presley Rosenow each drove in a run for Clintonville, while Trent Vollmer scored twice. Klay Barkow scored the other run.

Matt Seefeldt took the loss after pitching the final 1 1/3 innings and allowing two unearned runs. Cartwright worked the first six innings, striking out seven batters and allowing just one earned run.

Manawa 7

Gresham 0

The Wildcats were held to one hit in a CWC-North loss to the Wolves Tuesday.

Jack Haffner tallied Gresham’s hit. Luke Pecore took the loss on the mound, but allowed just one earned run over 4 2/3 innings. Jake Hoffman worked the final 1 1/3 innings.

Rosholt 13

Tigerton 1 (5 inn.)

The Tigers dropped a CWC crossover matchup with the Hornets on Tuesday.

Landon Prey and Austin Hoffmann each had two hits for Tigerton. Hoffmann scored the team’s only run.

Mitch Zimdars took the loss on the mound after working two innings. Isaac Schoen pitched the final three innings.

Wild Rose 16

Marion 2 (5 inn.)

The Mustangs could not slow the Wildcats bats in a CWC-North loss Tuesday. Wild Rose finished with 11 hits and held Marion to six.

Alex Zimmerman and Carter Goke each had two hits for Marion. Goke and Cayden Schoen each scored a run.

Zimmerman, Shoen, Koy Brei and Evan Fischer all pitched for the Mustangs in the loss.
