Bowler High School boys basketball senior Ezra Spencer was named to the Central Wisconsin Conference-North Division all-conference first team after filling up the stat sheet.
Spencer finished the season averaging 16.3 points per game. He also grabbed about eight rebounds, dished out four assists and stole over five passes per contest.
“It means a lot to me,” Spencer said. “It means all the hard work in the offseason paid off, and my team trusted me to be (a) leader. To be picked as one of the top five players in the conference is awesome.”
Bowler junior Zach Fehrman was handed second-team honors.
Fehrman was the Panthers’ top threat from 3-point land and finished the season averaging 15.1 points per game. He also finished with about two steals per game.
“I think that getting this honor will help very much with my confidence going into next year’s season,” Fehrman said. “I plan on taking a bigger leadership role and helping the younger players become better athletes.”
Bowler, which finished 7-16 overall and 5-7 in conference play, will graduate four seniors from this year’s team.
Gresham also had two players make all-conference teams, with senior Justice Paiser landing on the second team, and sophomore Jake Hoffman being named an honorable mention.
Paiser averaged over nine points per game. He also led the Wildcats in rebounds and assists.
“It’s really an honor,” Paiser said. “It feels great to get recognized for all the hard work put in. It is very special.”
Hoffman averaged just under 10 points per game while pulling down over four boards per contest.
Gresham finished the season 9-14 overall and 7-5 to finish tied for second in the CWC-North. The Wildcats will need to replace four seniors from this year’s squad.
Senior Dhonivan Haas and sophomore Branden Beechy represented Marion on all-conference teams. Haas was a second-teamer, while Beechy was an honorable mention.
Haas averaged 12 points, 4.7 rebounds, 4 assists and 3.6 steals per game.
“It means a lot to me — I love basketball, and it’s always been a dream of mine to make it to an all-conference team,” Haas said. “Earning this award my senior year is a dream come true. I’d like to thank all of my coaches and teammates for helping me achieve this award. I couldn’t have done it without them.”
Beechy finished just behind Haas in points per game (11.9). Beechy also averaged four rebounds.
Haas was one of just two Marion seniors on this year’s roster. The Mustangs finished the year 9-14 overall and 5-7 in league play.
Senior Steven Parrott was the lone Tigerton player named to an all-conference team.
Parrott averaged 9.5 points and a conference-leading 10.7 rebounds per game.
He was one of four seniors on the roster this winter. Tigerton finished the season 4-18 overall, with an 0-12 mark in CWC-North play.
Manawa went 12-0 to win the conference. The Wolves had four players earn all-conference honors, while coach Troy Wiesner was named coach of the year.
