The Eagles overpowered the Mustangs in a Central Wisconsin Conference crossover matchup on Wednesday.

Mimi Beaulieu-Morgan paced Menominee Indian with 19 points. Ali King added 12 points, while Channing O’Kimosh scored 11.

“We played a really nice game with balanced scoring and contributions coming from all of our players,” said Menominee Indian coach Michael Skenadore. “We kept Marion off balance with defensive changes and we avoided the foul trouble that has followed us all season.”

Bridget Bazile scored 12 points to lead Marion.

Oconto Falls 54

Clintonville 48

A slow start doomed the Truckers in a North Eastern Conference battle with the Panthers on Wednesday.

Elly Arndt scored 14 points for Clintonville, while Abby King tallied 13. Lizzy Weatherwax tallied 10 points.

Erin Viergutz grabbed nine rebounds for the Truckers. Clintonville shot 20-of-23 from the free throw line.

BOYS BASKETBALL

Marion 61

Gillett 57 (OT)

The Mustangs knocked off the Tigers in overtime of a nonconference battle on Wednesday.

Cody Clegg led Marion with 17 points, while Branden Beechy added 15. Jared Krueger scored 10 points and pulled down nine rebounds.

Ethan Tischauser totaled seven boards and five assists, while Dhonivan Haas had six rebounds and six assists.

Clintonville 59

Oconto Falls 53

The Truckers outscored the Panthers by three in each half to claim a NEC battle on Wednesday.

Aiden Polzin scored 14 points to lead the way for Clintonville. Samuel Wittman added 13 points.

Nathan Morse and Matthew Morse each contributed six points for Clintonville.
