The Hawks fell in a Bay Conference Tournament match against the Bulldogs in West De Pere on Saturday.
Michael Klement netted both of the Shawano goals, scoring in the 28th and 34th minutes. Collin Buerman stopped eight shots while defending the net.
Shawano, which was 1-7-1 in conference play to take sixth place, carried a 3-13-2 overall record into a postseason clash with Lakeland on Tuesday.

The Bears continued their impressive play on the gridiron by cruising past the Cardinals on Friday. Bonduel caps the regular season with a 6-3 record and 5-2 mark in the Central Wisconsin Conference-Large Division.
Parker Bohm threw for 112 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Bears’ offense. Isaac Garside caught four passes for 36 yards and a pair of touchdowns while Isaac Boldt rushed for 117 yards and two scores.
Riddik Bohm finished with 74 rushing yards and a pair of touchdowns while Cole Letter caught Parker Bohm’s other touchdown pass.
Bonduel earned a No. 6 seed in Division 5 for the postseason and will travel to battle third-seeded Colby on Friday.

Green Bay West 12
The Truckers earned their first win since Oct. 13, 2017, with a win over the Wildcats on Friday. Clintonville finished the season 1-8 overall and 0-8 in the North Eastern Conference.
Bailey Tate and Talon Streich each scored a rushing touchdown for Clintonville. Brock Smejkal picked off a pass and returned it 25 yards for another score.
Sean Finger passed for 167 yards and a touchdown to Dylan Danforth, who caught nine passes for 89 yards. Ryan Wegenke had two catches for 37 yards. Tate led the Truckers with 41 rushing yards.
Clintonville held Green Bay West to 88 yards of total offense.

The Chargers could not slow the Wolves in a CWC-Large battle on Friday.
Wittenberg-Birnamwood finishes the year with a 3-6 overall record and 1-6 mark in conference play.

The Thundercatz fell to the CWC-Small champion Eagles on Friday night. Marion/Tigerton finished the year 0-9 overall and 0-5 in conference.
Ethan Scheef completed six passes for 63 yards and a touchdown to lead Marion/Tigerton. Anthony Tischauser caught the touchdown pass and also rushed 12 times for 48 yards. Mitchell Zimdars hauled in two receptions for 38 yards.

Menominee Indian 24
The Eagles hung tough with the Bobcats but dropped their season finale on Saturday. Menominee Indian finished 2-8 overall with a shutout win over Oneida Nation and forfeit win over Bowler/Gresham.
Tiger Dixon led the Eagles with 257 passing yards and a touchdown pass to Darius Wayka, who caught three passes for 71 yards. Wayka also rushed for 104 yards and the team’s other two touchdowns. Raymond Fish caught seven passes for 78 yards while Andre Corn tallied four receptions for 75 yards.
Wayka led the defense with 13 total tackles while Pasen Waupoose had 11 and Leone Peters 10. Peters and Wayka each registered a sack.
