Gresham rallied from a set down two different times in a Central Wisconsin Conference crossover win against Wild Rose. on Monday. Gresham won by scores of 24-26, 25-19, 18-25, 25-12, 15-7.
Karisa Nietzer finished the night with 18 kills while Tiana Ferguson tallied 13 digs and eight kills for Gresham. Valarie Cerveny contributed 30 assists while Kennedy Hoffman had 12 digs. Makayla Belongia totaled 17 service points.
Gresham is now 12-7 overall.
Tigerton 3
Suring 0
The Tigers swept the Eagles by scores of 25-9, 32-30, 25-18 in a nonconference match on Monday.
Jaidan Miller recorded 32 assists while Kelsi Shumaker had 19 service points, 10 digs, six attack kills and two aces. Monika Minniecheske totaled 19 attack kills and seven block kills while Molly Brehm had nine digs. Savannah Swartz and Ladia Block tallied six and three attack kills, respectively.
Tigerton is now 12-8 overall.
Gresham wins own tournament
The Wildcats posted a 3-0 record at the Wildcat Invite on Saturday. Gresham topped Gillett (25-22, 25-9, 15-9), Goodman-Pembine (25-15, 25-12, 15-7) and Wisconsin Valley Lutheran (23-25, 25-19, 15-7).
Karisa Nietzer led Gresham with 30 kills while Valarie Cerveny had 39 assists. Makayla Belongia tallied 24 service points and 11 digs while Tiana Ferguson had 19 service points.

The Panthers fell to the Wolves in a CWC-North match on Friday. Wisconsin Valley Lutheran won by scores of 25-18, 24-26, 25-6, 25-14.
Kayla Pecore led Bowler with seven kills while Ireland DeRoos had six and Brooke Theix five. DeRoos also posted the team’s two blocks. Jada Waters recorded 15 assists while Theix had seven. Pecore finished with 20 digs while Alyssa Strassburg had 12. Jodi Wolf served three aces.

The Truckers faltered in a North Eastern Conference clash with the Spartans last Thursday. Luxemburg-Casco won by set scores of 25-9, 25-8, 25-13.
Allysin Booth and Autumn Steede each tallied three attack kills for Clintonville while Chelsey Birling had four assists. Booth and Lizzy Weatherwax each recorded three digs.

The Truckers could not slow down the Spartans in a North Eastern Conference matchup on Friday. Luxemburg-Casco scored 43 first half points and outgained Clintonville 458-77.
Sean Finger passed for 39 yards for the Truckers while Bailey Tate caught a 37-yard pass. Tate also finished with 48 rushing yards.
Clintonville is now 0-7 overall and in the NEC.

The Wolves proved to be too much to handle for the Thundercatz in a nonconference matchup on Friday.
With the setback, Marion/Tigerton falls to 0-7 overall.

The Chargers secured their first Central Wisconsin Conference-Large Division win of the season on Friday by holding off Weyauwega-Fremont. Wittenberg-Birnamwood improved to 1-4 in conference and 3-4 overall.
Jack Stewart rushed for 168 yards and two of the Chargers touchdowns while Larken Betry tallied the other score.
Menominee Indian 38

The Eagles picked up their first non-forfeit win since Sept. 8, 2017 with a dominating shutout victory over the Thunderhawks on Friday. Menominee Indian is now 1-6 overall and 1-5 in the MONLPC-8. As a unit, the Eagles held Oneida Nation to just 36 yards of total offense.
Darius Wayka had a monster game for Menominee Indian, finishing with 267 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 22 carries. He also caught a 28-yard pass. On defense, he totaled 10 tackles, three that resulted in losses, and forced a fumble.
Tiger Dixon passed for 176 yards and a touchdown to James Waupoose, who had 54 receiving yards. Adrien Waupoose tallied five catches for 63 yards and had eight tackles on defense, three that resulted in losses. Adrien Waupoose also forced two fumbles and registered a sack.
