Shawano opens year at Battle on the Fox
Shawano sent 12 players into action over the two-day Battle on the Fox Invite at Bay Port High School.
The format of the invite was a team match tournament, with each team playing four matches within their division and one extra match against a team outside their division.
Shawano dropped tight matches to St. Mary Springs Academy (4-3) and Howard Grove (4-3) on Monday before topping Green Bay East (5-2) and falling to Marinette (4-3) and De Pere (7-0) on Tuesday.
Elise Pyatskowit did not drop any of her four matches while Anna Cuenca earned three wins. Lydia Dobberstein, Isabella Buettner, Rylie Anderson and Sarah Carlson were all part of two wins.

Shawano, Bonduel perform well in Bay opener
Shawano and Bonduel were both in action Tuesday, playing nine holes at Vernon Hills Golf Course in Peshtigo for the first stop on the Bay Conference Tour.
Shawano placed second with a team score of 191. Kiley Rusch recorded a round of 44 to lead the team while Taylor Johnson shot a 46. Macie Herm (50), Katelyn Laatsch (51) and Georgia Eggert (57) helped total the team’s score.
Bonduel finished with a team score of 204, led by Jessica Laberge’s round of 42 and Kyle Guenther’s 43. Sydney Luepke (54), Ava Pleshek (65) and Jenna Godin (67) rounded out the team.

Johnson leads Shawano at Thunder Invite
Shawano opened the fall season competing in the Thunder Invite at Crystal Springs Golf Course in Seymour, with Taylor Johnson’s round of 111 leading the team.
Kiley Rusch and Georgia Eggert posted rounds of 116 and 117, respectively, while Katelyn Laatsch (120) and Macie Herm (127) rounded out the team score.
Bay Port won the invite with a team score of 359. Shawano finished with a score of 464.
