Gresham 19

Shawano 2

Gresham powered its way to a seven-inning win over Shawano to improve to 10-0.

Joe Ejnik posted hits in each of his six at-bats for Gresham while Nate Ejnik tallied four hits, including a home run. Pete Carroll chipped in with two hits for the Gophers while Dan Buettner earned the win on the mound.

Derek Bowman was dealt the loss for Shawano (1-8) while Kurt Boldig launched a homer.

Tigerton 13

Leopolis 0

Tigerton tallied 21 hits during a rout of Leopolis.

Paul Sellner led Tigerton (8-2) with five hits while Brandon Sivertson, Jon Berg, Shawn Much and Haden Harris each had three hits. Sivertson belted a homer while Gunner Kopitzke doubled among his two hits. Much also earned the win for the Tigers.

Jason Kuehl suffered the loss for Leopolis (3-6). Tyler Dillenberg, Justin Reminger, Nate Laude and Brock Hoffman each had one hit.

Neopit 7

Marion 6

Neopit held off Marion to improve to 6-4.

Neopit finished with 17 hits, led by a four-hit game from Dustin Peters. Mike Pecore had three hits while Bobby Peters, Dallas Madosh and Mequan Corn Jr. all tallied two hits. Bobby Peters earned the win on the hill.

Jake Westphal took the loss for Marion (3-7) but led the team with four hits. Mitch Elandt also posted four hits.

Caroline 22

Tilleda 3

Caroline blasted Tilleda behind a balanced offensive attack.

Conner Senzig led the charge for Caroline (6-4) with five hits, including two doubles. Dylan Loveland, Brandon Bernarde and Tyler Marquardt each finished with two hits. Aaron Hoffman earned the win after pitching six relief innings.

Matt Brunner paced Tilleda (1-9) with two hits while Joel Brei took the loss on the mound.

Little Falls 16

Bowler 1

Little Falls eased past Bowler in seven innings to hold its spot atop the division.

Little Falls (8-2) had 13 hits in the contest while Carter Kurki earned the win on the hill. Conner Kurki led the Loggers at the plate with four hits and five RBIs while Cam Gruenwald had three RBIs on three hits and also homered.

Bowler managed just five hits, two of which from Walker Miller. Landon Kroening suffered the loss.

Tigerton 6

Caroline 4

Tigerton topped Caroline in a makeup tilt behind a complete game effort from pitcher Paul Sellner.

Eric Kroening, Jon Berg and Brandon Sivertson each tallied two hits for Tigerton. Both of Sivertson’s hits were homers.

Bryson Bernarde took the loss for Caroline while Conner Senzig had two hits.

Leopolis 15

Menominee 2

Leopolis dismantled Menominee in a makeup game.

Brandon Laabs had five hits and earned the win for Leopolis while Nick Schoen and Justin Reminger each provided three hits. Jason Kuehl, Brady Hoffman and Nate Laude each had two hits.

Lowell Chevalier was dealt the loss for Menominee. Roger Corn tallied three hits while Lowell Chevalier and Dillion Oskequemn had two each.

Menominee, Clintonville game postponed

A matchup between Menominee (2-7) and Clintonville (7-1) was postponed. No makeup date has been determined.

Northern Division

Birnamwood 7

Wittenberg 1

Birnamwood took down Birnamwood behind a strong outing from Austin Reed. Both teams are tied for fourth in the division with 4-5 records.

Reed struck out six batters to work around seven hits and two walks across six innings of work. Gus Turner-Zick and Jason Rieck led the Kings with two hits each.

Keegan Miller and Erik Steigerwald each had two hits for Wittenberg. Dominic Anderson was dealt the loss on the mound.

Eland 7

Hatley 6

Eland edged Hatley in 10 innings to improve to 8-1 overall.

Jeremy Jensen, Alex Bembenek, Kelvin Lassa and Caleb Bembenek all had two hits for Eland. Ryan Richter earned the win on the mound.

John Breske took the loss while leading Hatley (3-6) with four hits. Kodie Kocher, Dustyn Zeblewski and Ryan Schmidt each added two hits.

Polar 10

Aniwa 2

Polar cruised past Aniwa to improve to over .500.

Kyle Wagoner earned the win for Polar (5-4) while Hunter Kirsch and Jed Weix each had three hits. Nick Marshall and Wagoner each tallied two hits.

Aniwa (2-7) posted just three hits in the game. Garrett Held homered while Denton Mortensen suffered the loss.

South Central Division

Waupaca 4

Scandinavia 3

Waupaca squeaked past Scandinavia to remain unbeaten.

Cam Siedl and Luke Behm each clubbed two-run homers for Waupaca (9-0) while Tyler Goggins had two hits. Siedl also picked up the win on the mound.

Ryan Glodowski took the loss for Scandinavia (7-2). Tony Tuschen led the team with three hits while Jason Steinbach and Jesse Dickert had two hits each.

Plover 11

Omro 1

Jason Jones did it all for Plover in a seven-inning win over Omro.

Jones earned the win on the mound and also had three hits at the plate. Derek Lemmens also had three hits for Plover (5-3).

Brian Jones suffered the loss for Omro (2-7).

New London 8

Weymont 2

New London earned its first win of the year after taking down Weymont. New London improved to 1-7.

Andy Brooker earned the victory on the hill, striking out 13 batters across seven innings.

Trevor Wetzel suffered the loss for Weymont (2-7).
