Bonduel fourth, Witt-Birn fifth in conference

Acker and Keeney land on all-conference second team

The Bonduel and Wittenberg-Birnamwood boys golf teams finished fourth and fifth, respectively, in the Central Wisconsin Conference final standings.

The final conference meet was held at Golden Sands Golf Course on Thursday.

Austin Acker led the Bears with a 18-hole round of 89. Acker earned a spot on the second team all-conference for his play across the conference season.

Carter Siolka (93), Jack Jiskra (100), Kody Jashinsky (113) and Aaron Schaal (114) rounded out Bonduel’s team score on Thursday.

Justin Keeney made the all-conference second team for Wittenberg-Birnamwood. Keeney led the Chargers with a round of 91.

Ian Resch (104), Brian Nelson (107), Logan Balliet (112) and Maverick Beran (124) helped fill out the team.

The Menominee Indian/Gresham co-op finished seventh in the conference’s final standings. Josh Hoffman and Morgun Fish paced the team with rounds of 107 and 109, respectively. Tyson Webster (112), Ry Fish (132) and Johnny Kerry (151) rounded out the team.

Marion came in ninth in the final standings. Molly Schoen (117) and Myles Peterson (119) led the team on Thursday while Ellen Radies (126), Cody Clegg (130) and Lauren Pamperin (135) filled out the team score.

Final standings: 1. Pacelli; 2. Amherst; 3. Manawa; 4. Bonduel; 5. Wittenberg-Birnamwood; 6. Shiocton; 7. Menominee Indian/Gresham; 8. Weyauwega-Fremont; 9. Marion; 10. Iola-Scandinavia; 11. Wisconsin Valley Lutheran.
