Shawano girls edged New London 56-50 in overtimeat home. The teams forced OT after a blocked Hawks shot and missed New London heave ended regulation 41-41. The game was ultimately decided at the free-throw line.
“The girls know wins in these kinds of situations come at the line, and they executed that,” coach Ryan Koenig said. “New London missed their free throws and our girls went out there and made them when they needed to most.”
Tori DePerry led the Hawks with 19 points, Brandi Gueths added 14 and Rachel Reed shot three 3-pointers for nine total points.
The win puts the Hawks at No. 3 in the Bay, with their regular season finale next Thursday at home against winless Green Bay East.
Bonduel 59
Iola-Scandinavia 32
Bonduel dominated Iola-Scandinavia 59-32 in a CWC-East matchup led by Jessie LaBerge with 13 points. Brynn Reinke added 11 points, three assists, three steals and five rebounds and Grace Petcka seven points, six blocks and six rebounds. LaBerge also held Iola’s leading scorer, Bryanna Kisting, to three points. The Bears hit nine 3-pointers by five players.
“We showed very good patience offensively and took care of the basketball,” coach Jerry Reinke said.

Shiocton defeated Menominee Indian 46-28 in CWC-East play. Alyssa Corn led the Eagles with eight points and Faith Munson added seven.

Weyauwega-Fremont 25
Wittenberg-Birnamwood topped Weyauwega-Fremont 54-25 led by Emma Herb with 12 points and Abi Fraaza with nine. Herb also led with six rebounds and Emily Norrbom had five steals.

Gresham 57
Almond-Bancroft 48
Gresham defeated Almond-Bancroft 57-48 led by a game-high 27 points by Drew Haffner. Haffner hit three 3-pointers and shot a perfect 10 for 10 at the free-throw line. Todd Otradovec added 14 points for the Wildcats, Justice Paiser seven and Raven Bennett five.
Otradovec also secured six rebounds, four assists and two steals and Haffner had five assists and five rebounds.
Iola-Scandinavia 63
Bonduel 57
Bonduel lost to Iola-Scandinavia 63-57 in CWC-East action. Bryce Weier led the Bears with 17 points, Dalton Cairns 16 and Cole Letter 15 (including three 3-pointers).
