Taking advantage of some shaky fielding by the West, the East jumped out to a 10-3 lead, including a six-run fourth inning, in the first game.
The West began its comeback with four runs in the fifth inning. In the sixth inning, Logan Thiex hit a walk-off home run to secure a 12-11 win. Thiex finished the night with three hits.
Larken Betry also had a home run in his three hits. Ben Wesolowski chipped in three hits. Thiex, Ben Wesolowski, Quintin Sippl and Betry all pitched in the game.
The second game did not match the suspense of the first as the West got out to an early lead and won 10-0. Betry led the attack with two hits and a home run. David Gauderman also homered for the winners.
Pitchers combining for a no-hitter were Gauderman, Jack Fraaza, Betry and Pierson Potrykus.
