Christian Laettner, a former Duke University basketball standout and member of the 1996 U.S. Olympic “Dream Team,” will return to Shawano in June for a basketball camp at Shawano Community High School, 220 County Road B.
Laettner brought his camp to Shawano for the first time in October.
From June 7-9, Laettner will run camps for boys, from kindergarten through 12th grade. On June 10, Laettner will hold sessions specifically for girls, from grades 3 through 12.
The boys’ schedule and prices are kindergarten through second grade, 9:30-10:30 a.m., $40; third-fifth, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., $60; sixth-eighth, 1:30-3:30 p.m.; ninth-12th, 5:30-7:30 p.m., $90.
The girls’ schedule is third-fifth, 9:30-11:30 a.m.; sixth-eighth, 12-2 p.m.; ninth-12th, 2:30-4:30 p.m. Each of the girls’ camps will cost $25 for the day.
Players who are not participating in a specific camp, along with coaches, are welcomed to watch the sessions. Laettner will also be available for autographs after the sessions for the participants.
